Based on the concept of OPEN INNOVATION, the Innovation Bootcamps are intended to bring together doctoral, post-doctoral researchers, PhD's supervisors and external operators (companies, public actors, etc.) from the cross-border region around common cross-sectoral and multidisciplinary issues.

The main objective is to foster exchange and collaboration between the academic world and the socio-economic world, thereby ensuring a better coherence between scientific developments and the needs of the citizen community.

Besides the ambitions of the participants, the real impact on the citizen is a leit motiv of the reflection carried out during the Innovation Bootcamp.

The Digital Health Innovation Bootcamp takes place in 2 stages :

1st October, 4-8 pm " Digital Health Brainstorming "

preparation meeting which brings together the PhD's supervisors (senior researchers) and the external socio-economic actors (companies, public and private organisations) to jointly determine their needs which are synthesized into specific questions.These will be the questions on which the PhD's will work and to which they have to answer during the Digital Health Innovation Bootcamp itself.

19-21 November, Digital Health Innovation Bootcamp , in " Serre numérique ", in Valenciennes

during 3 consecutive workshop days, doctoral researchers from different disciplines and from the cross-border area of France-Wallonia-Flanders, are be led to work together on the previously determined questions through dynamic, creative techniques (design thinking), and to propose innovative solutions to these issues. This method ultimately aims at new collaborations and research projects with the socio-economic actors.

<p>Based on the OPEN INNOVATION concept, the &quot;INNOVATION BOOTCAMP&quot; aims to bring together doctoral students, post-doctoral students, thesis directors and external operators (companies, public actors, etc.) from the Hauts de
  France/Wallonia/Flanders cross-border region around common transversal and multidisciplinary issues.<br /><br />The doctoral students of the France-Wallonia-Flanders cross-border area will work together and propose innovative solutions!</p>
<h3>TOPICS HIGHLIGHTED BY THE CROSS BORDER SOCIO ECONOMICS ACTORS </h3>
<h3>A reflexion on a successful inclusion of technology in healthcare areas</h3>
<h4>Those topics will be studied by the PhD students during the seminar from the 19th to the 21th of November 2019</h4>

  <h4>3.Ethics and deontology</h4>
  <p> Thinking about the fundamental ethical takes and their consequences on e-healthcare practicioners. </p>
  <h4>4.Public policies and protection of patient’s rights</h4>
  <p> Defining the core conditions to protect the patient’s rights at an individual and collective level </p>

Each partner has a training offer aimed at developing the multi-disciplinary skills of the PhD students. Consequently, the project will start by analysing the existing supply. We will then evaluate the actual needs of the target audience. A training...

Inter-regional doctoral training offer

Each partner has a training offer aimed at developing the multi-disciplinary skills of the PhD students. Consequently, the project will start by analysing the existing supply. We will then evaluate the actual needs of the target audience. A training offer will then be created that is tailored to the target audience in the regions concerned. As a result, we can provide added value as well as a real impact in terms of training. The training offer of each region is complementary to that of the other regions. This should facilitate the flow of students. Each region will make the necessary efforts to ensure that its students participate in each session. Inter-regional and inter-cultural exchanges are one of the priority objectives of the sessions. The purpose of the training seminars is also to better prepare each participant for the labour market, especially in the cross-border region. To achieve the objectives, the courses are all done in English. As a result, our offer appeals to our target audience.

The types of training proposed concern the following: inter-cultural communication, job interviews, etc.

16 interactive seminars will be proposed, spread over the 3 years of the project.

A total of 240 PhD students will be trained.
